About Ankur Patankar

Hey folks, I am Ankur Patankar more than often called AP. I completed my undergrads in Information Technology (Engineering) from K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai, India in 2007. Post my undergraduate education I worked with Tech Mahindra Ltd. which delivers IT solutions to the Telecommunications sector with British Telecom being its biggest customer. After taking two years of valuable experience in Web development, open source frameworks like Struts and User Interface Development I came to Georgia Tech in Fall 2009 to pursue an MS CS degree. My areas of interest have been Software Engineering, Web Technologies and Database Systems. But, since coming here I have developed an interest in Mobile Application Development and User Interface Design, the second one being the reason why I have taken the Human Computer Interaction course.
